Jerry O. Lewis, 77, of Stonewall, Mississippi, passed away on June 2, 2024.
He was born on February 13, 1947, to Carey and Pearl Lewis in Clarke County, MS.
Jerry was an avid outdoorsman that loved hunting and fishing and spending time with friends and family. He was the "Rock" of his family that loved his wife, daughter, and grandchildren and would help out anyone in need.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Louise Lewis; daughter, Sandra (Eric) Brown; three grandchildren, Jeremy (Tiffany) Boney, Summer Downs, and Hunter (Christy) Ascione; six great-grandchildren, Isbella Boney, Mark Walker, Braxton Walker, Korbin Lockhart, Teagan Lockhart, and Archer Ascione; sister, Gennie (John Wayne) Buckley; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carey O'Destin Lewis; mother, Pearl Lewis; and two sisters, Louise Veal and Bobbie Jean Lewis.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 7, 2024, 10:00 a.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Sandra Brown officiating.
Burial will take place in the Stonewall Cemetery.
