Jimmy Lee Williams, 84, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on November 11, 2022, at his residence.
He was born on January 23, 1938, to Ralph and Olivia (Cranford) Williams in Quitman, MS.
He was a veteran and served in the Army National Guard for 28 years. He was also a lifelong member of Calvary Baptist Church in Quitman, MS.
Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Kay (Michael) Williams; two sons, Wayne Williams, and Ray Williams; ten grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Johnny (Faye) Williams; two brother-in-laws, Harris "Jr" ( Patsy) Wilder, and Jerry (Kay) Wilder; two sister-in-laws, Martha Williams, and Karen Williams
He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Lee Williams; mother, Olivia Jane Williams; first wife, Yvonne Williams, second wife, Mary Ann Williams; son, Shane Lee Williams; three brothers, Bobby Ray Williams, James "Willie" Williams, and Curly Williams; sister, Sarah Williamson; sister-in-law, Frances Davis.
Pallbearers were Billy Scrimpshire, Brandon Lambert, Wesley Buntyn, Tony Cauthen, Noah Smith, Jackson Smith, and Cade Shortridge.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 14, 2022, 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Graveside services were held on Monday, November 14, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at the Odd Fellows Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Coats officiating. Burial was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
