Karen Lee Cockrell , 70, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on February 24, 2023, in Quitman, MS.
She was born on January 2, 1953, to Harold and Oletha (Meyer) Cockrell in Quitman, MS.
Karen is survived by her sister, Jane Cockrell; two sisters-in-law, Lisa Cockrell and Fredna Cockrell; and a niece, Hannah Korf.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold M. Cockrell, Sr.; mother, Oletha Hulda Cockrell; and two brothers, John Eric Cockrell and Harold Maret Cockrell, Jr.
Visitation was held Tuesday, February 28, 2023, 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at the Odd Fellows Cemetery with Rev. Michael Evans officiating.
Burial took place in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
