Mary Alice Tucker, 83, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on August 6, 2024, at her residence.
She was born on January 12, 1941, to Lawrence and Flarra (Southern) Lambert in Quitman, MS.
Mary is survived by her three daughters, Peggy (Mel) Sanders, Alicia Diane (Ty) Loper, and Robin (John) McAdams; eight grandchildren, Adam (Marie) Sanders, Stacy Sanders, Karey (Dusty) Jacks, Everette (Stacy) James, Christina (Matthew) Smith, Justin (Kimberly) Dickerson, Dillon (Chelsy) James, and Sean McAdams; 13 great- grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Evonne Barnes; and several nieces nephews and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Loyd Lambert; mother, Flarra Aliene Lambert; husband, James Grady Tucker; two brothers, Glynn Earl Lambert and Jimmy Lambert; and her sister, Grace Hood.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 9, 2024, 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at the Hebron Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
Burial will take place in the Hebron Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
