Michelle “Mike” Riley Lindsey recently passed away on August 17, 2024, from a six year battle with cancer.
She is survived by her Aunt Pat; her Uncle Joe; her two cousins Ed and Wes; and her knight in shining armor, Eugene O’Brien. She is also survived by her six fur babies: Picasso, Twosie, Splatter, Boss Man, Ditto, and Trip.
She was met in Heaven by her mom, grandma, Uncle Mel, grandpa, and her twin, Victoria Weslyn Lindsey. She was also met by all of her special friends, Chris and R.C.; her best friends, Jesse and Janice Johnson; and her beloved cousin, Charlie Perkins.
Mike spent the last of her time sending her paintings and homemade necklaces out into the world for other people to enjoy. It was not easy, but she tried to stay positive and give light to the world as she got sicker.
An extra special thanks goes out to Dr. Kellie Wilkinson and Mike’s team of doctors that have treated her over the years. Also, thanks to Dr. Andrew Watson of Quitman, MS. Also, thanks to the ladies at Hope House of Hospitality in Jackson, MS, for their care and friendship over the years.
