Mike Carmichael, 84, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on September 25, 2024, at Oktibbeha County Regional Medical Center.
He was born on September 1,1940, to John and Octavia (Tims) Carmichael in Quitman, MS.
Mike enjoyed spending time tending his property, playing golf, and being an avid fan of and attending Mississippi State University sporting events. He was a loving husband, father, and proud grandfather that enjoyed spending time with his family.
Mike is survived by his two daughters, Miranda (Rick) Harvey and Gerry (Cliff) Long; five grandchildren, Caroline (Todd) Bierman, Lindsay Long, Matthew (Payton) Harvey, James Long, and Abby Long; sister-in-law, Glenda (Danny) Hardee; brother-in-law, Carl (Gloria) Graham; and numerous friends and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Carmichael; mother, Octavia Carmichael; and wife, Amanda Graham Carmichael.
Visitation will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024, 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024, 12:00 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Ervin Mooney officiating.
Burial will take place in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
