Millard Earl Jones, 85, of Enterprise, Mississippi, passed away on January 2, 2024, at Anderson's Hospital.
He was born on September 28, 1938, to Lawrence Otis "L. O." and Gladys (Roberts) Jones in Meridian, MS.
Millard Earl retired from Southern Natural Gas after 28 years of service. He was a lifetime member of Concord Methodist Church.
Millard Earl is survived by his wife of 62 years, Margaret W. Jones; daughters, Jennifer Jones Jones and Rebecca Jones Griffis (Terrell Griffis Jr.); grandson, Justin Jones; granddaughters, Danielle Jones and Madison Griffis; two brothers, J. H. "Sonny" Jones and Ronald (Shirley) Jones; sister, Linda Sisson Richardson; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Roberts Jones; father, Lawrence Otis "L. O." Jones; sister, Dorothy "Dot" Rushing Sweeny; and two brothers, Charles Ray Jones and Lawrence Wayne Jones.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 5, 2024, 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024, 1:00 p.m. at the Enterprise Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Owen officiating.
Burial will take place in the Enterprise Cemetery.
