Mrs. Minnie Carolyn Hurtt Anderson, 89, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, February 15, 2022.
Carolyn was born in Kemper County, MS, to the late Walter Reece and Walterine Aquilla Penny Hurtt. She was a member of Union Baptist Church in Kemper County. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse L. “Buster” Anderson and her son-in-law, Donald Reece.
Carolyn is survived by her two daughters, Linda Reece of Philadelphia, MS, and Laurie A. Robinson and her husband, Randy, who reside in Clarke County, MS; a son, Douglas K. Anderson and his wife, Debra, of Oxford, MS; eight grandchildren, Lee Reece, Trent Reece, Morgan McNeill, Jody Robinson, Malauri McDonald, Jenny Anderson, Jesse Anderson, and Josiah (Duncan) Anderson. Carolyn also had eight great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
A family graveside memorial service will be held in Carolyn and Buster’s honor at Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Kemper County, MS.
