Peggy N. Herring, 79, of Stonewall, Mississippi, passed away on April 25, 2022, at her home. She was born on November 14, 1942, to Willie Brag "Rat" and Bertha (Johnston) Nicholson in Stonewall, MS.
Peggy is survived by her loving husband, Marvin Herring; daughter, Dawn Herring; nieces, Vicki Frasier, Jeanie Dew, Mary Ostrander, and Melanie Kemp; nephew, Wesley Herring; sister, Pansy Everett; and very special friends, Molly Blanks, Rick Carmichael, Dianne Crane, and Nicki Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Brag "Rat" Nicholson; mother, Bertha (Johnston) Nicholson; and her nephew, Mike Everett.
Graveside services were held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, 2:00 p.m. at the Montrose Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Pat Oakes officiating. Burial took place in the Montrose Cemetery.
Honorary Pallbearers were Jason Thomas, Chris Phillips, Tom Pettis and Ricky Harper.
In lieu of flowers, Peggy's family requests donations be made in her honor to the Stonewall United Methodist Church.
