Robert Jeffery Moore II, 38, of Pachuta, Mississippi, passed away on April 13, 2023, at his residence.
He was born on July 6, 1984, to Jeff and Kay (Ivy) Moore in Meridian, MS.
Jeffery was a former police officer for Meridian Police Department and Marion Police Department. He was a member of the Shriners Fraternal Organization in Meridian, MS. He worked as a Registered Nurse at Oschner Hospital in New Orleans, LA. He served in both the Army National Guard and the Air National Guard. Jeffery was presently employed by Vertex Aerospace at Naval Air Station, Meridian, MS.
Jeffery is survived by his parents, Jeff and Kay Ivy Moore; girlfriend, Deidre Chapman; two sons, Tristan Layne Scott and Jayden Eli Moore; daughter, Ariana Denise Moore; maternal grandmother, Oleane Ivy Whitt; paternal grandmother, Bobbie Jean Killian Moore; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Harold Thomas Ivy, and paternal grandfather, Jack Tatum Moore, Sr.
Visitation was held Saturday, April 22, 2023, 12:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, April 22, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at the Pine Hill Church Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Griffin officiating.
Burial took place in the Pine Hill Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were his friends and co-workers. Honorary Pallbearers were the Marion Police Department.
