Ronald Steven "Ronnie" McCoy, 57, of Shubuta, Mississippi, passed away on September 10, 2024, at Baptist Anderson Hospital in Meridian, MS.
He was born on July 18, 1967, to R. E. and Jackie (Huddleston) McCoy in Pascagoula, MS.
Ronnie worked as manager of Midway Service Center in Shubuta, MS, where he loved the people and customers that he served. He was an avid Alabama fan that was pulling for the "Crimson Tide" every time they played. He enjoyed collecting and discussing firearms with friends and acquaintances.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Tina Avera McCoy; two sons, Matt (Autumn) McCoy and Ryan (Lily) McCoy; three daughters, Alaina Davis, Haleigh (Russ) Flowers, and Hannah McCoy; nine grandchildren, Autumn Flowers, Camrynn Davis, Brandtly Flowers, Kole Flowers, Deslynn Davis, Denslee Davis, Noah McCoy, Addyson McCoy, and S. J. McCoy; parents, Raymond Earl "R. E." and Jackie McCoy; sister, Donna (Larry) Deemy; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held Friday, September 13, 2024, after 5:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, 3:00 p.m. at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Castle officiating.
Burial took place in the Hephzibah Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Scott McGraw, Timmy Huddleston, David Chancellor, Byron Chancellor, Roosevelt Williams, Tracy Kennedy, Brandy Hearn and Lane Waltman. Honorary pallbearers were Carl Garrett, Buster Robinson, Dewayne Stallings, Leonard Jones, Johnny Richardson, Cody Craven, Larry Deemy and Joe McCoy.
