Susan Buffington, 47, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on August 9, 2024, at her residence.
She was born on January 17, 1977, to Wendell and Gail (Gunn) Buffington in Meridian, MS.
Susan is survived by her parents, Gail and Wendell Buffington; daughter, Sophie Rose Manning; sister, Shea (Lee) Mosley; three nephews, Fletcher (Madison) Warren, Austin Lee (Sarah) Mosley, and Eli Mosley; five great-nieces and great-nephews, Emma Claire Davidson, James Ryan Sealey, Kallie Faith Warren, Morgan Reese Mosley, and Rivers Bryce Warren; two aunts, Rosa (Freddy) Gunn and Faye Gunn (Larry) Adams; uncle, Jim Gunn; her beloved pet, Della; and several friends and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mary Jo and Edwin Gunn; paternal grandparents, Lavelle and Lavada Buffington; and two cousins, Brian Adams and Shane Robinson.
Memorial services will be Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Providence Church.
