Tim Kelly, 60, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on January 16, 2024, at his residence.
He was born on September 3, 1963, to Clyde and Geraldine (Tindle) Kelly in Meridian, MS.
Tim worked as a mechanic in the Oil and Gas Industry over 20 years. He loved spending time on his farm and baling hay. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. He was a loving husband, father, and "Poppy" or "Pop-Pop" that loved having all of his family around at every available moment.
Tim is survived by his wife, Rebecca Kelly; son, Scott (Kristi) Kelly; two daughters, LeAnn (Colton) Hollis and Brandy (James) Thompson; five grandchildren, BreAnn Kelly, Cason Hollis, Macon Hollis, AnnaLee Hollis, and Jensen Hollis; parents, Clyde and Geraldine Kelly; father-in-law, Jimmy G. Ivy, Sr.; sister, Lisa (Adam) Jenkins; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024, after 11:00 a.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the Odd Fellows Cemetery with Rev. Joe Gullick and Rev. Kevin Ivy officiating.
Burial will take place in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Murray Ivey, Dean Busby, Barry Brand, Lee Blackburn, Luke Ivy, Levi Ivy, and Jude Ivy.
