Virginia Charlene "Gran" Rainer, 67, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on March 11, 2024, at Ochsner Rush Hospital in Meridian, MS.
She was born on August 5, 1956, to Charles and Betty (Stewart) Jordan in Quitman, Mississippi.
Charlene is survived by her two daughters, Wendy M. (Anthony) Turner and Ashley L. (Odell) Haney; son, Christopher P. (Tina) Schrimpshire; 10 grandchildren, Jordan Schrimpshire, Kandace Haney, Kaydan Haney, Miranda Murray, Christopher Schrimpshire, Kayla Ward, Wesley Schrimpshire, Kobie Brown, Mason Turner, and Holden Turner; 11 great- grandchildren; father, Charles Jordan; four sisters, Diane Ivy, Mary Jo Ivey, Robin (Greg) Carney, and Mollie (Robert) Starnes; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty V Jordan.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024, 1:30 p.m. at Crossroads Church Cemetery, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at the Crossroads Church Cemetery.
Burial will take place in the Crossroads Church Cemetery.
