William Rickey Ivey, 69, of Meridian, Mississippi, passed away on November 6, 2024, in Wayne County, MS.
He was born on April 3, 1955, to Billy and Marie (Robinson) Ivey in Quitman, MS.
He was a member of Northrup Chapel Baptist Church, and he loved spreading the word of God on Facebook. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a friend to all that knew him.
Rickey is survived by his wife, Tammy Ivey; two sons, William Dustin Ivey and Richard Cory Ivey; granddaughter, Deanna Nicole Ivey; step-daughter, Amber (Tristan) Davis; step-son, Josh (Kristan) Lee; brother, Mike (Carla) Ivey; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, William H. "Billy" Ivey; mother, Kathryn Marie Ivey; and a sister, Shirley Ann Ivy.
Graveside services were held on Friday, November 8, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at the Rolling Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dewayne Robinson officiating.
Burial took place in the Rolling Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
