Wilma Maxine Holloman Riley, 90, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on November 25, 2023, at her residence.
Wilma was born on July 13, 1933, to J. P. and Virgie (Fuller) Denham in Clarke County, MS.
Wilma is survived by her three daughters, Shirley H. (Ed) Taylor, Brenda C. Dearman, and Christy H. (Harold) McDaniel; son, Bill Holloman; three step-sons, Ray (Wanda) Riley, Rodney (Jayne) Riley, and Randy (Diane) Barnes; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; 14 step-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, J. P. and Virgie Denham; first husband, Bro. Edd Holloman; second husband, Calvin E. Riley; three brothers, James Denham, Tommy Denham, and Aaron Denham; and step-son, James Riley.
Visitation was held Monday, November 27, 2023, 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services were held on Monday, November 27, 2023, 1:00 p.m. at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Ballard, Toni Ballard, and Harold McDaniel officiating.
Burial took place in the Hebron Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were John Michael Morgan, Joshua McDaniel, David McDaniel, Brion Ballard, Alex Pentecost, and Trace Dearman. Honorary Pallbearers were Carson Pentecost, Leif Dearman, Rick Dearman, Christian Parrish, Landon Parrish, and Deacon Parrish.
Our family would like to express a special thank you to caregivers, Regina Mason, Bonnie Reed, Jennifer Glass, Dasia Mason, and Jenn Parker for their tender loving care of our dear mother. We would also like to thank Brook, Michelle and Latricia with Hospice Care Group for their compassionate care and support.
