The Town of Stonewall held its regular board meeting October 5, 2021.
• A motion was made and approved to:
• To allow Mike Robinson to attend a conference November 3-5
• To add uninsured motorist option for nine city vehicles
• To allow trick or treating Saturday, October 30
• To rent the building at 101 Industrial Place for $1500 monthly and $200,000 to purchase.
• To sign a lease/purchase agreement with Sonoma Barrel Inc. for the building at 101 Industrial Place.
• To approve the municipal compliance questionnaire for October 1, 2020-September 30, 2021.
The meeting was adjourned.
November 2021
The Town of Stonewall held its regular board meeting November 2, 2021.
A motion was made and approved to:
• Allow Richard Smith and Kent Stephens to attend a conference in December
• Increase Stonewall Apartment’s degreaser cost for the sewer to $183 a month due to a price increase for the chemical
• Hold the Christmas parade on December 4
• To approve the final amended budget for fiscal year 2020-2021
The meeting was adjourned.
December 2021
The mayor and board of aldermen met in regular session on December 7, 2021.
A motion was made and approved:
• to renew the annual hardware and software maintenance agreement with BBI for 2022
• to renew Mike Robinson’s pollution control operator certification
• to adopt ordinance 136 titled an ordinance regulating junked vehicles, trailers, appliances and equipment in the town and providing penalties for violations of any provisions
• to have summary reports of monthly activities submitted by the police dept., public works, water and payroll at board meetings
• to table pay raises
The meeting was adjourned until January 2022.
The town meetings are open to the public. They are held on the first Tuesday night of each month at 6 p.m. at the town hall.
