The body of a missing man in Shubuta was found around 10 a.m. Wednesday morning in a pond behind his home. Robert Gray, 88, was reported missing around midnight Wednesday morning. Search crews were out looking for Gray and found him this morning, according to Sheriff Todd Kemp. Gray suffered from a medical condition that may have impaired his judgment.

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has issued a Silver Alert for 88-year-old Robert L. Gray of Shubuta, Clarke County, Mississippi.
He is described as a black male, five feet five inches tall, with gray hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a burgundy top with gray on it and gray pants Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at about 9:30 P.M. in the 700 block of Eucutta Street, walking in an unknown direction.
