Law officials and emergency personnel were called to the scene of a major accident Wednesday morning on Hwy. 11, north of Pachuta. One vehicle left the road and struck a tree on the driver's side. The driver was pinned inside the vehicle. After emergency personnel removed the driver from the truck with the Jaws of Life, he was transported to a Jackson hospital by AirCare Helicopter for his injuries. No other details are available at this time.
