Addie Lee Smith, 97, of Meridian, Mississippi, passed away on September 21, 2021, at Popular Springs Nursing Center.
She was born on April 22, 1924, to William and Catherine (Maxwell) Davidson in Snell, Mississippi.
Addie is survived by her sons, Stanley (Delores) Smith and Spencer Smith; daughter, Joyce Robinson; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, William C. Davidson; mother, Catherine C. Davidson; husband, Leo Smith; daughter, Kay Copeland; brothers, Elmo Davidson, Coleman Davidson, Lionel Davidson, and Samuel Buckley.
Visitation was held Saturday, September 25, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 25, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Coats officiating.
Pallbearers were Chris Gilbert, Nathan Copeland, Michael Copeland, Eric Robinson, Tyler Copeland, and Brandon Copeland. Honorary Pallbearer is Darryl Copeland.
Burial took place in the Snell Church of God Cemetery.
