Jimmy Cecil "Shor-T" Mosley Sr., 76, of Vossburg, Mississippi, passed away on September 10, 2021, at South Central Regional Medical Center.
He was born on August 27, 1945, to Lester and Glennie Abston Mosley in Choctaw County, AL.
Jimmy is survived by his sons, Jimmy C. (Jennifer) Mosley, Jr., Larry D. Shirley, David (Stephanie) Shirley; daughters, Rachelle Alamia, Cynthia Mosley, Diane (David) Ivy; sisters, Grace Thomas and Mary Mosley; 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; along with his brother-in-law, Charles Thomas Edwards; and his loving companion, Sheliah Kelley.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Mosley; mother, Glennie Mosley; wife, Beverly Jane Mosley; brothers, Lester Mosley, Jr., Willis E. Mosley and Raymond Mosley; and sister, Ollie Pearl Elfring.
Jimmy, "Shor-T", loved his farm life and his animals along with his numerous friends and family members.
Pallbearers were Bryan Wilson, Josh Rowell, Johnny Wayne Mosley, James Mosley, Les Pitts, John Pitts, Jr., Donald Rowell, and Honorary Pallbearer Eddie Wilson.
Visitation was held Monday, September 13, 2021, 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services were held on Monday, September 13, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Ivey officiating.
Burial took place in the Goodwater Cemetery.
