Merle H. McInnis, 91, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on August 10, 2021, at her residence. She was born on June 13, 1930, to Claude and Charlotte (Loper) Harger in New Orleans, LA.
She was a life-long resident of Clarke County, MS, and loved taking care of her household and farm.
Merle is survived by her son, Randall McInnis; grandson, Larry James (April) McInnis, Jr.; granddaughters, Samantha (Brian) Ray, Victoria L. McInnis, and Lorrie (Cody) Sanford; nine great-grandchildren;, and several nieces nephews and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her father, Claude L. Harger; mother, Charlotte L. Harger; husband, Frank James McInnis; son, Larry James Mcinnis, Sr.; and daughter-in-law, Marlene R. McInnis.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 13, 2021, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at Providence Church, Shubuta, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at the Providence Church with Rev. Kendall Turner and Rev. Randy Satcher officiating. Burial will take place in the Andrew's Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John Reeks, Mike Johnson, Matt Mayo, David Mayo, Brad Coody and Kenny Mosley.
