Lucille (Roberts) Goldman, age 100 passed away peacefully on September 22, 2026.
She was born on July 11, 1926, to Alex and Claudia (Collins) Underwood in Quitman, MS. She resided in Clarke County, MS for her full century and witnessed incredible changes in the world.
She loved spending time with her family, working outdoors and fishing. All that knew her said she was a kind, loving, hardworking lady.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Roberts and her husband, Paul Goldman and grandsons, Jerrod Haguewood, and Donavan Barry; brother, Kenneth Underwood and sisters, Virgie Doggett and Voncile Mixon. She is survived by her daughters, Joyce (Don) Barry and Cathy (Roger) Haguewood; grandchildren, Deanna (Jeremy) Bunyard, Chris Haguewood, Brent Barry, Rochelle (Kris) Darragh, and Johnathan (Christy) Barry and 11 great grandchildren, each of whom was the love of her life.
All family and friends are invited to attend visitation at Wright's Funeral Home in Quitman, Mississippi, Monday, September 28, 2026, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. with services in the chapel at Wright's Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. and burial to follow at Cooper's Chapel Methodist Church, Hwy 511 East, Quitman, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Haguewood, Jeremy Bunyard, Tony Underwood, Gary "Suzie" Doggett, Kris Darragh, and Randall Doggett.
