Antique & Salvage Co. is set to open its doors for the first time Friday and Saturday, Oct. 2-3, bringing a new destination for home décor to downtown Quitman.
The store, located in the former T&G Athletics building, will feature a mix of vintage and antique pieces, along with one-of-a-kind finds.
Store owner Megan Wilson said shoppers can expect “beautiful old furniture, architectural pieces, blue & white china, vintage glassware, pottery, artwork, baskets, lamps, garden pieces, one-of-a-kind finds and all those little treasures you just don’t see everywhere anymore.”
Wilson said she hopes the store will be part of the momentum building in downtown Quitman.
“Downtown Quitman has the momentum for movement,” Wilson said. “My family and I want to play our part in helping to revitalize Main Street and downtown.”
Magnolia Antique & Salvage Co. will be open the first and third weekends of each month. Monday through Thursday shopping will be available by appointment.
