Main Street Odorless Cleaners is open for business in Quitman. Owner Donna Beckman is thrilled to be able to bring the dry cleaning business back to Clarke County to serve the community.
“We just want to make sure everyone has the convenience of not having to go to Meridian. When this opportunity came knocking on our door, we jumped into it. It’s been an amazing experience,” explained Donna. “My husband and I have always wanted to do something to service the community. We chose to open this so they don’t have to go out of town and can save time and money by staying in Quitman.”
They maintain reasonable prices for those who would like to use their services.
“We want to make sure that everyone has quality and in a price range that they can afford,” declared Donna. “We don’t want to overcharge. We want to make sure that everybody is happy with our prices.”
For laundry services, there is a $10 minimum, and everything over 10 pounds is an extra $1.50. Two piece suits start at $11.
They also intend to serve the community as much as possible by doing what they can to benefit other organizations.
“That’s what it’s all about—putting back into the community and servicing the community,” proclaimed Donna. “We’re working with the shelter to try and get something going to help raise money for the shelter. Our goal is not to just benefit with cleaning services here, but we also want to benefit other organizations. Our goal is to be a service and be a productive citizen.”
They are located at 121A Main Street in Quitman and are open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and on Wednesday and Saturday from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Come out and support this great business!
