Clarke County Emergency Management is thrilled to host its Annual Candy Crawl on Thursday, October 24, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on West Church Street (Back Street) in downtown Quitman.
Everything at this family friendly event is free.
Everyone is asked to dress up in their favorite costume, grab a candy bucket, and visit with emergency personnel (fire trucks, EMA, EMS, Clarke County Sheriff’s Department, Quitman Police Department, and the Highway Patrol) and local businesses and other organizations for candy, games, and prizes.
Families will be able to follow a one-way route stopping at booths to collect treats and play different games.
The following things are planned to be included for all to enjoy: Halloween candy, costume contest, cake walk, balloon pop, pumpkin bowling, pumpkin tic-tac-toe, pumpkin ring toss, Halloween face paint, and much more.
Donations for the event will be greatly appreciated.
For more information, contact EMA Director Toshia Evans at 601-274-2165.
Come out and enjoy the fun!
