Funeral services for Margaret Katherine “Kathy” Kelly, age 79, of Clarke County, MS, were held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at East Quitman Assembly of God in Quitman, MS, with Rev. Rick Malone officiating. Visitation was held for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment followed the service in the East Quitman Assembly of God Cemetery.
Ms. Kelly was born on July 6, 1946, in Needham, AL, to John and Olivia Kelly. She passed away July 21, 2025, at her residence in Clarke County, MS.
Kathy worked many years for Burlington as manager of their housekeeping department. She dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a beautiful lady and always loved to dress up. Kathy was also a very talented singer and enjoyed singing country music. But her passion was sharing her faith through singing gospel music.
She is survived by her granddaughters, Alexis Summer Robinson of Enterprise, MS, Alyssa Skye Robinson of Meridian, MS, and Albany Shaye Robinson of Stonewall, MS; great grandchildren, Calynn Hadlee Collins, Chesney Hollynn Collins, and Bowin Klay Satcher; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelli Kim Robinson; father, John N. Kelly; mother, Olivia Turner Kelly; sisters, Myra K. Allen, Martha Malone, Esther Diamond, Virginia Todd, Katie Jones, and Mylissie Joiner; and brothers, Jonnie Kelly, Harvey Kelly, Roland Kelly, Clyde Kelly, David Kelly, and Willard Kelly.
Serving as pallbearers were Stacy Kirkland, Perry Hasson, Rick Malone, Ryan Jones, Levi Williams, and Nolan Williams. Honorary pallbearers were Randall Kelly, Kendall Turner, and Keith Kelly.
