A memorial service for Mr. Marshael Nix was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church near Melvin, AL. John E. Stephens Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Nix, 88, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Choctaw Residential Center in Philadelphia, MS.
His hobbies were fishing and going to the casino.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert Brown Nix and Lenice Johnson Nix; daughter, Lenice Diane Ocain; brothers, Hugo, Maxie, Marvin, and Albert Nix.
Survivors include his daughters, Vicki Edwards and Alice Michele Hollinghead; sister, Opal Bentley; brother, Earnest Nix; seven (7) grandchildren; and fifteen (15) great-grandchildren.
