Ryan Evans requested that the Supervisors approve an ordinance to go along with a state law. It is illegal to shoot a firearm from a vehicle, but state law excludes a hand gun. The sheriff’s department requests the Supervisors approve an ordinance for this law to include handguns. Board Attorney Greg Snowden said this was a legal motion. The board voted to approve this request.
Franklin Allen requested to shut down County Road 127 in Elwood on May 15 from 3-10 p.m. for a graduation community block party. The supervisors requested the public be notified. The motion was approved.
