The Terral Masonic Lodge of Quitman will be hosting a fundraiser event for Micah Lambert on November 3 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in the Southern Market parking lot. They will be selling pulled pork sandwiches, hamburgers, and hotdogs.
Micah is the nine-year-old son of Brandon and Candace Lambert. When he was only three years old, he was diagnosed with a chronic kidney disease and was warned that he would eventually need a kidney transplant. This year, things progressed too quickly, and he needed the transplant. His father was able to donate his kidney to Micah, and the transplant was successful.
This fundraiser is designed to assist the family their expenses because of the cost of medical and travel expenses along with Micah’s father being out of work for recovery after the kidney donation.
For anyone who would like to make a direct donation at a bank, there is an account at 1st Mississippi Federal Credit Union that is set up. Just say “Candace Lambert in lieu of Micah” when making a donation there.
