Michael Glen Turner, 57, of Rose Hill, Mississippi, passed away on February 9, 2026, at his residence.
He was born on January 28, 1969, to Glen and Thelma (Carmichael) Turner in Meridian, MS.
Michael was well known in his community for his talent to help out all of his friends and neighbors.
Michael is survived by his wife, Lisa Turner; daughter, Mikayla Turner (Jacob) Taylor; grandson, Canaan Turner; a grandchild on the way; sister, Michelle Turner; mother, Thelma (Danny) Holloman; paternal grandmother, Maxine "Mackie" Turner; mother-in-law, Delois Wimberly; longtime friend, Jim Russell; and numerous extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Glen Turner; paternal grandfather, Ernest Turner; and father-in-law, George Albert Wimberly.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 13, 2026, after 5:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Stonewall Assembly of God Church with Rev. Dewayne Robinson officiating.
Burial will take place in the Stonewall Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jim Russell, Kenneth Mason, Joseph Sibley, John Goodwin, Kevin Bentley and Daryl Thornton.
