I, Monica Fuller, am announcing my candidacy for Alderman Ward 3.
I am a lifelong resident of Clarke County and have been a resident of the City of Quitman for 23 years.
I have one daughter, Kayla Downs, her husband Jeremiah, and two grandchildren, Tad and Hazel. I am the daughter of Al Reeves and wife, Mary Reeves, the late Jeanette McLain, and her husband, Mike McLain.
I am a graduate of Quitman High School. I received my associate’s degree in nursing from Meridian Community College. I am also an active member of Hephzibah Baptist Church where I have served in many capacities.
I have worked for many years with the public, and I believe I have the skills and knowledge necessary to represent the people of Ward 3. I have attended many City of Quitman board meetings and observed our current leaders at work.
If elected as Alderman of Ward 3, I will be committed to lead and serve with integrity, transparency, and will be available to communicate openly with my constituents. I love my town and believe there are ways to keep our small-town charm while also bringing in new ideas to make our wonderful city more welcoming to businesses.
I humbly ask for your vote on April 1, 2025.
