The 2022 Clarke County Distinguished Young Woman Program will be held Saturday, February 6, 2021, at 7 p.m. at the Quitman High School Auditorium. Six young women will compete for the title of Distinguished Young Woman. Contestants this year include Lexie Kidd, Reagan Dyess and Mayson Manley, all of Enterprise High School; and Jesse Miller, Jessica Manning and Nya Nobles, all of Quitman High School. Come out and support these beautiful ladies!

Future Plans - After high school, I plan to attend Mississippi State University, where I want to enroll in their Veterinary Program in order to become a Veterinarian.
What DYW means to me: For me, The Distinguished Young Woman Program means finding a new group of friends, helping my family to put me in college, and recognizing the gifts of the young women of the community.

Future Plans - In the future, I plan to attend Mississippi State University to further my education in Music Education and Computer Science.
What DYW means to me: The Distinguished Young Women Program not only allows me to participate in new opportunities and make friends, but also provides a chance to help me live my dream by granting potential scholarships to continue my education.

Future Plans - In the future, I plan to be a Veterinarian and one day work with my mother at Clarke County Animal Clinic.
What DYW means to me: To me, the Distinguished Young Women Program is a great way to better myself and my self image. It is also a great opportunity to meet new people, make new friends, have fun, and possibly earn great scholarships.

Future Plans - I plan on continuing my education at Ole Miss where I will obtain a medical bachelors degree and then apply in a CRNA program at the University of Tennessee to potentially become a Nurse Anesthetist.
What DYW means to me: I feel that the Distinguished Young Women Program has benefitted me socially and prepared me for real life encounters that I will experience after high school. I am thankful for the opportunities I have been given with interviewing experience and the possibility of furthering my education with the help of the DYW program. I have also gained many new friends and learned how to carry myself elegantly.

Future Plans - I plan to attend Jones College and later Mississippi State University, where I will pursue a degree in Music Education and hope to one day be a Band Director.
What DYW means to me: The Distinguished Young Women Program is helping me become a better person and develop more poise, confidence, and grace.

Future Plans - After graduation, I plan to attend The University of Southern Mississippi and pursue a career in Biomedical Science and hope to one day be a Pediatrician.
What DYW means to me: The Distinguished Young Women Program is an amazing opportunity to earn scholarships for my future by showcasing my skills and talents.
