Alex Fortner "Sandy" Taylor Jr., 64, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on November 8, 2020, at his residence.
He was born on January 27, 1956, to Alex and Jewel (Bufkin) Taylor in Pachuta, MS.
Sandy is survived by his wife, Pat Taylor; son, Alex (Emily) Taylor, III; second mother, Margie Taylor; brother, Keith (Susie) Taylor; two sisters, Kay (Jerry) Wilder, and Evelyn Hopkins; five grandchildren, Taylor, Haley, Malorie, Sidney, and Isabel; two great-grandchildren, Maci Rae and Mason.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alex Fortner Taylor, Sr. and mother, Jewel Taylor.
Funeral services were held on Monday, November 9, 2020, 2:00 pm at the King Cemetery, with Rev. Bo Bankston, officiating.
Burial took place in the King Cemetery.
