Charles Cleo Long, 92, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on January 22, 2021, in Meridian, MS.
He was born on November 9, 1928, to Marvin and Elizabeth (Dunnam) Long in Clarke County, MS.
Cleo is survived by his son, Larry (Deborah Lea) Long; two sisters, Annie Crimm and Fannie Beck; granddaughter, Brittany Ashby Buckle; great-grandson, Owen Jack Buckle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Elizabeth Long; wife, Ruth Doris Long; and brother, J.C. Long.
Graveside services were held on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Coats officiating.
Burial took place in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bobby Miller, Josh Miller, Roger Kennedy, George Beck, Gary Doggett, and Clifford Satcher.
