Mrs. Dianne Shirley, 69, of Shubuta, MS, passed from this life Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS. She was born in New Orleans, LA, on Sunday, September 2, 1951, to Richard Donaldson, Sr. and Genevieve Donaldson.
She worked as a manager at Hardee's in Quitman, MS. Mrs. Shirley is preceded in death by her father, Richard Donaldson, Sr.; mother, Genevieve Ledoux; daughter, Genny Miller; two brothers, Richard Donaldson, Jr., Steve Donaldson; three sisters, Linda Bruno, Janice Jones, Robbin O'Connor.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Shirley, Shubuta, MS; three sons, James "Porkchop" Miller, Jr. (Jerri), Shubuta, MS, Billy Ray Miller (Samantha), Waynesboro, MS, Heath Shirley (Stephanie), Millry, AL; daughter, Mary White (Adam), Meridian, MS; seven brothers, James Donaldson, Sr., Donald Donaldson, Sidney Donaldson, Sr., Thomas Donaldson, Larry Donaldson, Jeffery Arnold, Ronald Burgess; eight grandchildren, J. T. Miller (Brice), Chelsea Stewart (Trent), Jenna Roberts (Christian), Abbey Cooley (Jaye), Lexi Miller, Corey Shirley, Brooke Shirley, Landon Shirley; three great grandchildren, James Miller, Lilly Grace Miller, Isabella Cooley.
Visitation for Mrs. Shirley was held from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 19, 2021, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 19, at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Griffin officiating. Interment was in Christian Fellowship Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
