Wonda Dale Smith, 84, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on March 1, 2021, at H. C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
She was born on January 1, 1937, to Frank and Annie (Long) Cranford in Clarke County, MS.
Dale is survived by her daughters, Kay Smith (Michael) Thompson and Molly Beth (Jason) Smith Hooks; sister, Darlene McCarra; grandchildren, Michael Anthony Thomas, Garrith Thompson, Kayloni Jemison, Morgan Poole, and Cody Hooks; 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Annie Cranford; husband, A. J. Smith, Jr.; and 1 great grandchild.
Visitation was held Friday, March 5, 2021, after 12:30 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Graveside services were held on Friday, March 5, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at the East Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Roy McHenry officiating.
Burial took place in the East Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mickey Long, Terry Loper, Joey McCarra, Terry Ford, Benton Slay, and Mark "Alabama" Nicosia.
