The Enterprise Bulldogs claimed 2nd place honors in Region 5-2A by dominating the Puckett Wolves, 48-0. It was Senior Night at L. J. Davis field and it was nothing but BULLDOGS. Twenty-five total seniors recognized between the football team, cheerleading squad and band. The end of the regular season for these seniors was one for the books. From the senior night recognition, to the team entrance, a “thrilling” halftime show with a bang and final score, the Bulldogs gave it all they had and left it all on the field.
In the first quarter, Kristian Milsap and Ridge Kidd each put points on the board with a touchdown. The Bulldogs scored 14 more in the second quarter by Ridge Kidd again and a pick 6 for 43 yards from Trace Roy. The Bulldogs headed into halftime with a score of 29-0. The second half added scores from John Campbell (46 yard run), Jakyron Chapman (7 yard run) and Jayden Gunn (13 yard run).
Senior Kristian Milsap had 8 carries for 155 yards and one touchdown of the night while Senior John Campbell ran the ball for 95 yards and one touchdown. Senior Ridge Kidd scored 2 touchdowns for the Bulldogs. Senior Ethan Baxley had 3 solo tackles along with Luke Cochran and John Campbell. The Bulldogs racked up 37 total tackles for the night.
The Bulldogs (6-1) will host West Lincoln this Friday night for the first round of playoffs. Kick-off slated for 7:00 p.m.
