Patricia Ice, whose absentee vote in Jackson’s Democratic primary was voided due to the city placing her in the wrong ward, will simply vote again. But to some of her similarly situated neighbors, who are already facing difficulty navigating the cumbersome election, the error represented a threat of disenfranchisement.
