“Be grateful for living and working in a small town where the community supports and looks after each other,” advised Kristi Fleming. “Focus on family and keep God first!”
Kristi Fleming loves her community and family, and she is always doing everything she can to help those around her. She has a gentle, nurturing personality that can instantly brighten anyone’s day.
One of the many things Kristi loves is her job. She enjoys being able to go to work each day and loves her work family.
“I graduated from Enterprise High School and attended MCC before started work with Dr. Traxler,” stated Kristi. “I’ve worked for Dr. Traxler for 22 years as a dental assistant and front office worker. The easiest part of my job is just showing up every day. It’s like home. My co-workers and Dr. Traxler make my job so fun and enjoyable.”
Not only does she love the atmosphere where she works, but Kristi loves each patient that she sees.
“My favorite part of my job is the relationships made with patients of all ages,” said Kristi. “I enjoy putting them at ease when they come for dental work.”
Her hard work doesn’t stop when she leaves her job, though. Kristi has a heart for helping others, and she successfully does that through volunteering.
“I am a member of the Stonewall Volunteer Fire Department. I am an EMR,” explained Kristi. “I love to be able to give back to the community and help out as much as I can.”
She also volunteers to help in her church: First Baptist Church of Stonewall.
“I keep the babies in the nursery on Sunday morning and during Sunday School,” stated Kristi.
Although she is very hard working and enjoys volunteering to help others, Kristi has a family that she loves.
“I’m married to Benjie Fleming. I have a step-son, Benton, his wife, Desyrae, and a granddaughter, Bryleigh, who live in Florida,” said Kristi. “I have a big family that is the most important thing to me. I have nine wonderful nieces and nephews. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my husband, family, friends, and love on all our fur babies.”
With her joyful disposition, it is hard to imagine Kristi having to undergo tragedy, but she has experienced loss in the past. It is thanks to her faith that she has been able to overcome the tragedy, and she is now thankful for the time she was able to have.
“My best memory is the birth of my precious daughter, Kaitlynn,” recalled Kristi. “My time was cut short with her, but I thank God for allowing me to be her mother.”
Kristi loves spending time with her family, and she really enjoys being able to work on their little farm.
“My hobbies are working with my animals and on the farm. It keeps me very busy,” explained Kristi. “I have plenty of dogs, cats, goats, and cows. I enjoy fooling with them. It’s a lot of hard work, but it’s so rewarding.”
Kristi is very optimistic and will continue to do everything she can to show love and spread joy to everyone she meets.
