With St. Patrick’s Day this week, I thought it a good time to reflect on facets of Irish heritage, which probably applies to a lot of folks in the area. A common ancestry for European Americans is that of Scotch-Irish. While we may not have “Irish” restaurants in smaller towns, we still enjoy a lot of traditional Irish foods and customs.
