Law enforcement had to respond to the location of a domestic dispute on Thanksgiving Day.
At about 4:30 that afternoon, a call came in reporting the situation on County Road 441. Authorities quickly responded to the scene.

The Relay for Life of Clarke County invites all cancer survivors to the Relay for Life – April 25, 2015, Archusa Water Park, Quitman, MS. Who is considered a cancer survivor? Anyone who has ever been diagnosed with cancer. The American Cancer Society considers you a survivor the day you are diagnosed.

Meridian Airport announces additional hub

Meridian Regional Airport will be adding a second hub to its commercial flight schedule. Beginning on June 2, passengers will have the option to fly to Dallas-Ft. Worth, the current hub, or to O’Hare Airport in Chicago. Dallas-Ft. Worth and O’Hare are two of the largest hubs in the country.
