The 2nd Annual Muscadine Festival was held Saturday, July 2, in downtown Quitman. The smell of barbeque and the sound of music filled Main Street all day. Although it was hot, many vendors showed up with food and items to sell, and the antique vehicles lined both sides of the Depot parking lot.
Brooks Wood, Daniel Houze and Gravel Road Prophets provided the entertainment for the day.
Winner of the barbecue cookoff was Moe’s BBQ. Congratulations!
A huge shoutout to Tracy McCarty for putting on a great day of fun!
“I would like to thank everyone who came out,” stated Tracy McCarty. “All the cars that participated, the vendors, and all the sponsors are truly appreciated. We are looking forward to next year, and it will be bigger and better! Same time, same place. Work starts today!”
