The Nation's Weather for Saturday, September 16, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Lee will push northward through the day tomorrow, bringing
areas of rain and strong wind into mainly eastern New
England before the storm makes landfall later in the day,
likely in Atlantic Canada. Otherwise, the Northeast will be
dry, with breezy conditions more likely closer to the coast.
A cold front will track across portions of the Great Lakes
region and into the central and southern Plains, bringing
showers to northern areas but another day of thunderstorms
for some in Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico. The Southeast
will have thunderstorms largely confined to areas near the
Gulf Coast, but eastern Tennessee and much of Georgia and
Alabama could also receive some downpours. Elsewhere, high
pressure will ensure dry conditions across the West.
