The Nation's Weather for Wednesday, November 15, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Much of the nation can expect a dry day tomorrow as large
areas of high pressure ensure a good deal of sunshine for
many from the Four Corners across the Plains, through the
Great Lakes, the mid-Atlantic and the Northeast. However, a
storm will continue to slowly track across the central and
eastern Gulf of Mexico, bringing the continued risk for rain
during the day, some heavy at times, especially for areas
closest to the coast. A separate storm will dive into the
interior Northwest, with areas of rain and snow likely from
northern Idaho into western Montana and rain also extending
southwestward to portions of the Oregon coastline. Otherwise
in the West, a large disturbance will continue to spin well
off the California coast, with bands of rain spinning
onshore, especially later in the day.
