NATIONAL SUMMARY
A disturbance shifting to the east is expected to bring the
risk for severe thunderstorms into a zone extending from
eastern parts of Texas and Oklahoma southeastward into far
southern Alabama through the day tomorrow. Within this zone,
storms may be able to produce large hail, damaging wind
gusts and even some tornadoes. Rain from this storm will
stretch into much of the Great Lakes region, with showers
reaching the high terrain of western North Carolina and
Virginia as well. Spotty afternoon thunderstorms are
possible through the Florida Peninsula, with much of the
rest of the Eastern Seaboard likely to be dry. Snow is
expected from Colorado into western Nebraska, with mainly
dry conditions through the West outside of far northwestern
Washington state.
