_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
An atmospheric river will bring periods of rain and showers
to western Washington tomorrow. Throughout the day, snow
levels will steadily drop and flakes can mix in with rain as
low as 5,000 feet by the evening. In the mountains of
Colorado and New Mexico, there can still be some
high-elevation snow in places greater than 8,000 feet, with
snowflakes being able to mix in some places below that as
well. Once again in eastern New Mexico, as well as into the
Texas and Oklahoma panhandles, there can be severe
thunderstorms that can bring flash flooding and damaging
winds to those regions. The dry and mild weather across the
eastern portion of the United States will continue. Across
the Midwest into the Northeast, high temperatures can be
5-15 degrees Fahrenheit above historical averages.
