NATIONAL SUMMARY
Across the Great Lakes region, lake-effect snow will
continue tomorrow. Difficult travel will continue on
Interstate 90 between Cleveland and Buffalo as well as
Interstate 81 from Syracuse to Watertown. Persistent, heavy
snow bands will continue to move through the area leading to
reduced visibility. From Missouri to Tennessee a storm will
bring a period of snow and can lead to slippery travel.
Otherwise, east of the Rocky Mountains it will continue to
be unseasonable cold with temperatures in many locations 10
to 20 degrees below the historical average. In South Texas,
it will be warm and windy, with a few showers around. In the
Intermountain West, it will be dry, warm and mainly sunny.
In the California valleys, western Washington and western
Oregon there can be area of fog to start the day.
