The Nation's Weather for Tuesday, March 18, 2025
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Much of the Central and Eastern states are forecast to be
warm and dry tomorrow. Sunny and pleasant conditions are in
store across the Southeast and the Northeast, while the
Plains, Ohio Valley and Tennessee Valley can expect partly
cloudy skies with a breeze. A storm will spread snow across
the Rockies along with a stripe of snow from South Dakota to
the Michigan Peninsula. The heaviest snow is expected to
develop across portions of Wyoming and Colorado. Gusty winds
in the area will also lead to blizzard conditions, resulting
in poor visibility and difficult travel. Snow is projected
to mix with rain in Utah and Colorado. In the South Central
states, strong winds, low humidity and dry brush will lead
to a high fire threat. While showers dampen the Pacific
Northwest, the Southwest will remain dry.
