NATIONAL SUMMARY
The northeastern United States will be dry and colder
tomorrow following a day of powerful winds and disruptive
storms. Much of the Southeast will be similar, with cooler
and largely dry conditions on tap. A few feisty
thunderstorms may develop across portions of Texas,
Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi during the afternoon
hours and persist into the night. Damaging wind gusts and
hail are the main threats anticipated with any storm.
Farther north, a new storm will bring a fresh swath of snow
to the far northern U.S., including portions of North
Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan. Snow will
continue to fall in the Washington and Oregon Cascades as
some rain showers dot other portions of the Pacific
Northwest. Dry and cool for much of the Southwest.
